All cancellations must be made in writing and sent by email on or before November 7, 2017 in order to receive a full refund.  No refunds will be issued after November 7, 2017.

IFRA North America reserves the right to admission or reject the registration of any person or entity, and to remove the person or entity from the event, each in  IFRA North America’s sole discretion at any time.

Media
IFRANA media credentials may be available to reports, editors working as reporters, producers, video camera operators and still photographers with valid press identification.  Bloggers and other citizen journalists who lack formal press credentials must authenticate their status by providing links to their blogs and media outlets.  Applications for IFRANA media credentials should be made by submitting a request to info@ifrana.org.  Applications must be approved by IFRANA before the event.  IFRANA reserves the right to limit the number of credentials it issues and to refuse entry to its event.  Media representatives present at the event may have their credentials withdrawn at the discretion of IFRANA.  For additional information, contact info@ifrana.org.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS

Francie Dalton, CMC
Dalton Alliances, Inc.
Francie Dalton, CMC, is founder and president of Dalton Alliances, Inc., a D.C. based C-level consultancy specializing in the management, behavioral and performance sciences.  Among her offerings are trademarked programs that convey certification in Evidence Based Performance Measures®; customized 360 degree assessments, employee and member surveys, executive retreats, and an array of follow-up services including developmental workshops, pivotal interventions, and intensive executive coaching.

Francie’s work in leadership development has been featured in hundreds of industry and trade publications and journals, including Harvard Management Update, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal, CEO Magazine, Investor’s Business Daily, The Journal of Compensation and Benefits, ASAE’s peer reviewed Journal of Association Leadership, and many more.  Her book, “Versatility:  How to Optimize Interactions when 7 Workplace Behaviors are at Their Worst”, has been published in both the U.S. and in China.

A veteran of U.S. Army Military Intelligence Service, Francie was trained as a German linguist, spending four and a half years on active duty.  She earned her MA in Business from Johns Hopkins University, and built her professional portfolio as an executive in specialty steel manufacturing and technical sales.   Not only have her innovative business plans won generous funding from both the Kauffman Institute of Entrepreneurship and the Small Business Administration, she has also earned the coveted Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, an achievement shared by less than 12% of management consultants globally.

Invited back year after year as a convention speaker, Francie’s clients include CEO’s and senior executives in corporations, nonprofits, the federal government, the U.S. Military, and academia.

 

Former Senator Byron Dorgan
Arent Fox LLP
Former Senator Byron Dorgan is a Senior Policy Advisor at Arent Fox and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Government Relations practice.  Senator Dorgan represented North Dakota in the U.S. Senate for 18 years, including serving for 16 years as Assistant Democratic Floor Leader and then Chairman of the Democratic Policy Committee.  He was a senior Senator on the Appropriations, Energy, and Commerce Committees in the Senate and chairman of key subcommittees on aviation, energy, water, and Indian issues.  Before entering the Senate in 1993,  he served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, during which he was a member of the Ways and Means Committee and participated in the development of the 1986 comprehensive tax reform law and numerous healthcare and trade laws.  Over the course of his career in public office, Senator Dorgan consistently promoted and defended the economic needs of rural America, advocated for renewable energy and energy independence, and for sound economic policies.  He is recognized as someone with substantial knowledge in the issues of energy, aviation, agriculture, water policy, Native American issues, and issues dealing with the economy.  Prior to his Congressional tenure, he was elected Tax Commissioner in North Dakota.  Since joining Arent Fox in 2011, Sen. Dorgan has advised corporate, association, and nonprofit clients on a wide range of issues and regularly appears on television as a policy expert.

 

David Fischer
American Chemistry Council
David B. Fischer has been with the American Chemistry Council (ACC) for over 15 years.  He served as an Assistant General Counsel until 2010 at which time he was asked to co-manage ACC’s Chemical Products and Technology Divisions and to lead a practice area that includes numerous self-funded chemical specific groups.  From 2000 – 2003, Mr. Fischer was Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Maryland School of Law.  He received a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Northwestern University, an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he focused on environmental law.  He has authored numerous articles on science policy and regulatory issues. Mr. Fischer is also a patent attorney.

 

Dan Renberg
Arent Fox LLP
For more than 25 years, Dan Renberg has worked in Washington, DC either in public service or as an advocate before the Congress and Executive Branch. A former Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to a Republican Senator, and a former Presidentially appointed official at a federal trade agency, Dan has helped numerous corporate and nonprofit clients since joining Arent Fox as a partner in 2003.  His client work often includes tax, trade, health, energy, and economic development issues. Recognized as a top federal lobbyist, one of Dan’s advocacy efforts was included as one of the “Top 10 Lobbying Triumphs of 2009” by The Hill and he has been listed for several years for his government relations work in The Best Lawyers in America, the nation’s oldest peer-review directory for lawyers. In addition to serving as co-practice group leader of the Government Relations practice group, Dan also serves in the International Trade and Transactions practice group.
